Mark Arm of Mudhoney

Mark Arm lead vocalist/guitarist for Mudhoney was in today and picked up a sweet 9’ 4” California Noserider. Great guy, and a Stewart fan to boot. Keep your eyes peeled as he is surfing So. Cal this week on a little break from Seattle. Thanks for the patronage Mark, and enjoy your new CNR!

Handpainted, Customized golf clubs?

In true form, it appears as though Bill Stewart can find a canvas in anything. When a good friend asked Bill to spice up a New Taylormade Burner driver, he took up the challenge. The driver is a new product and the head is stark white, perfect for a little artwork. Nothing says “check me out” like the red hour glass on a Black Widow. I believe Bill has come up with a new genre in a typically generic sport!

Barter for a Handpainted Stewart Cap!

Bill Stewart is back at it, painting waves and other cool stuff on trucker caps. Back in the day, these caps set a trend, I remember a classic shot of Mike Parsons sporting one on his dome! Here is the deal, anyone can get one, just bring or send us something wierd/cool you think Bill would appreciate, and we will get you a cap. Think strange, think intersesting. Bill has a 1500’ mancave with a stage that needs decorating. All unreasonable offers considered!

Russ Kunkel adds a little more soul into the Mancave.

Fellow surfer, go-to drummer for the likes of Bob Dylan, Jimmy Buffett, James Taylor and Lyle Lovett just to name a few, stopped by Bill’s Mancave last week to donate a gorgous drumset. Looks like the back line is almost complete. I have the feeling that the cave is going to be rocking this summer. Stay tuned for more musical and other funkiness the Mancave Churns out in the near future.

"It's just not in there" by Troy Mothershead

“It’s just not in here.” He grabbed the blank from the tail, scanned it thoroughly, unfastened the tape measure off his belt for one last rocker ruling, shook his head, and repeated, “It’s just not in here.”
“I wish I hadn’t plowed through that one there.” Bill eyed the blank resting on the adjacent room’s shaping rack. He had previously sized it up and recognized “it wasn’t in there” either. The real issue was the rocker, likely the most important link to equalizing the equation and fulfilling the attempt to clone my “magic” board, which was finding needed rest on the wall rack overhead.

Some new items for your enjoyment.

We as surfers are often pigeonholed as hippy like, alt lifestyle, eco conscience bums. For some reason being called a “tree hugger” just didn’t fit. Our simple solution was to offer a tee that better defines our ultimate cause and what we are willing to fight for. A “vanity” plate for those of us who prefer not to have one on our vehicles. The other image is a perfect license plate frame for those who love the sport and sardonic humor. Yes, its been said before but now you can spruce up your car for a mere $7.95.
