What a great show! If you were there you know what I am talking about. It was sincere and soulful, both traits lacking in most other surf industry trade shows. Just days before the show Bill obtained some wonderful Dick Brewer collectibles (thanks Andy!) that he wanted to display in honor of Mr. Brewer and wanted to show off some of our fine Traditional models. Hoping for the best we gave Scott Bass a call and he was kind enough to provide us with a great booth at the 11th hour. Great shapers, glassers, and artists mingled with an audience that really appreciates hand made surfboards and the mystique surrounding them. It was truly amazing to see the variety of what was on display from the simplicity of Wegener’s Alaias to the funky disarray and beauty of Mr. Kegel’s resin color work and free laps, the Andreini Hulls, and some of the most interesting classic style boards currently available. Bill had a great time catching up with industry friends and revving up the general public about the S-Winger and Fartknocker models. Check out some of the photos from the event. If you haven’t gone, make time next year. If you were there, thank you for your support and we will see you next time. Also a big thanks to Scott Bass and the Sacred Craft crew!
