What do you do when you are in landlocked Afghanistan, with a only few days of deployment left? You go shopping for a surfboard of course! Staff Sargent Randall Parkes Found his dream board on our website, a 9’ 6” California Noserider with deep red panels. As soon as he got home he came into the Stewart shop, walked right over to the CNR section, grabbed his dream board put it on the rack and said fin me up! A little unusual as normally it takes some salesmanship to get a board out the door. Randall told us how much he missed surfing and couldn’t wait to get in the surf. He was pleased that he could easily pick out his board online by viewing our complete inventory, walk right in and purchase it. It gave him something to look foreword to after serving in Afghanistan.
