Steve Newton took 1st place in Mens Longboard at the Gathering of Tribes 2013 event. The Gathering of Tribes is the biggest Surf Club Coalition event with clubs across the US competing. Steve was representing the Oceanside Surf Club. The event was held last weekend at Church/Trestles. The waves were great - 5 feet the whole event.
Stewart Team member Tony Silvagni placed 6th in the event.

Bill Stewart recently designed and oversaw the complete frame-off restoration of this 1937 Ford Slantback, with his signature attention to craftsmanship in every detail. The exterior of the car is stealth, with black tinted windows and a Brandy Candy color that looks black in the shade and morphs to a deep, dark burgundy in the sun. Pop open the remote-controlled electric doors and see all the surf-inspired details, like the stingray-embossed leather interior, hand-shaped mahogany armrests and koa wood dashboard and floor.
