Stewart Team Riders Win Big at East Coast Championships

Team Riders Tony Silvagni (N. Carolina) and Steven Mclean (Florida) took first and second at the East Coast Longboard Championships this past weekend. Both team riders were fresh off West Coast trips spending time with Bill Stewart and Pro Team Manager Brandon Bunting, talking shop, surfing up and down the coast as well as competing in the Guy Takayama Classic in Oceanside.

However with the West Coast dreaming behind them, the boys paddled out hungry to take the Virginia Beach event. Tony took the championship riding his 9’0 Stewart Tipster, while Steven took a close second on his 9’4 Stewart Tipster. (read about the Tipster here) We couldn’t be more stoked for our East Coast Team and all of their success this year. Tony will spend the rest of the year running his Tony Silvagni Surf School, in Carolina Beach.
