Tony Silvagni wins Taiwan Open of Surfing LQS

Over the past weekend Stewart Surfboard Team Rider, Tony Silvagni, of North Carolina, took the crown at the Taiwan Open of Surfing LQS Event. The event was stacked with Longboard talent and is the 9th event on the Longboard Qualifying Series. Here is what Tony had to say about his journey to the top:

“I had some hard heats leading up to the final taking down Harley Ingleby in the quarters, Eduardo Delpero in the semi finals, and Taylor Jensen in the final.”

Tony, who spends most of his time teaching surfing at his surf school in Carolina Beach, is riding high going into this years  Jeep World Longboard Championship, ChinaRiyue Bay, Hainan Island, China which starts December 5th.
